A product discovery workshop that ends with a working architecture, not a Miro board.

5 days with two senior engineers and Mohit. You leave with a 30-page brief, six ADRs, a 90-day build plan, and a single fixed quote for the build. No sticky notes. No "design thinking." Just the decisions your product actually needs.

What is product discovery workshop?

A product discovery workshop is a fixed-duration engagement that turns a rough product idea into a concrete architecture + build plan. Empyreal Infotech's discovery workshop runs 5 working days, £8K fixed, and is delivered by two senior engineers + Mohit Ramani. Deliverables: a written 30-page brief, six architecture-decision records covering the most consequential technical choices, a 90-day build plan with milestones, and a single fixed quote for the build (if you want us to build it — you're free to take the brief to another studio).

What you get, every engagement.

01

Business + user context

Half a day interviewing you, your co-founder, your first 3-5 customers or users. We hear the actual problem before we design for it.

02

Architecture + stack decisions

Two senior engineers write six ADRs covering the most consequential technical choices — the ones that hurt if you change your mind later.

03

Scoped MVP + 90-day plan

Line-item scope for a shippable MVP, a 90-day build plan, and the sprint boundaries you can staff either with us or a competitor.

04

A single fixed quote

One number for the build. No day-rate clock, no scope creep. Walk away at the end of week 1 with the brief and no build commitment.

Common questions

Questions we get about product discovery workshop, with real answers.

A Google Design Sprint ends with a validated prototype and a UX judgment. Our product discovery workshop ends with an architectural spine — the decisions that hurt when you get them wrong at week 12. We do the design work too where it belongs, but the deliverable is a buildable brief, not a Figma file.

£8K fixed. Five working days, two senior engineers plus Mohit. Everything included: the 30-page brief, six ADRs, 90-day build plan, risk register, and a single fixed quote for the build. No day-rate clock, no scope creep.

No. That's the point of the fixed-price workshop. If our quote is too high, or you want to take the brief to another studio, or you decide not to build at all — you keep the brief and we shake hands. Around 20% of 2025 workshops didn't lead to a build. We're fine with that.

Founder or CEO (all 5 days), co-founder or product lead (days 1-2 + day 5), and your first customer or user (day 1 for 90 minutes if possible). Remote is fine — most 2025 workshops were run over Google Meet with a shared Miro for the whiteboard sessions.

Yes, especially. Existing-code discovery adds a day-1 inventory of what's there, and the ADRs cover the migration path, not the greenfield build. Same £8K fixed price. Roughly a third of our 2025 workshops were "we've got a prototype, now we need to scale it" projects.

Yes — most do. We run over Google Meet with a shared Miro for whiteboards and a live-updated Notion for the brief. If you want us on-site in London, no extra fee. Travel outside London is charged at cost.
