Your client doesn’t know we exist.

That’s the entire pitch. White-label by default. NDA on file before the call. Your account director is always the only voice in the room.

Why agency-to-dev-partner usually breaks

Three problems that come up almost every time.

If you’ve worked with two or three development partners already, at least one of these three patterns will sound familiar. The rest of this page is built around not repeating them.

01

Senior in the pitch, junior on the project.

You met the lead engineer in the sales call. The work was handed to junior developers a week later. Your in-house senior ends up rewriting their code before you can deliver to the client, and you absorb the cost in margin and timeline.

How we fix it: the senior who joins your first call is the same senior who reviews every PR on the spine of your project. No rotation, no offshore handoff.

02

Vendor contacts your client directly.

The dev partner emails your client to “clarify a requirement”. Three weeks later, they’re on a sales call with your client, and your retainer is now shared with a second vendor your client is comparing you against.

How we fix it: a White-Label Annex signed before the partnership starts, including a 24-month non-solicit clause and a written commitment to route every inbound client message back to your AD.

03

Scope creeps without a written trade-off.

Each sprint adds one more “small thing” without anyone naming the cost. By week six, the build is 30% over budget, the timeline has slipped, and your account director is the one explaining it to a client who has stopped trusting your delivery estimates.

How we fix it: every scope change is logged in writing, costed in hours, and signed off by your AD before we move on it. Friday call summaries are sent the same day, so there are no surprise sprints.

What we build for agencies

One senior team. Five stacks. End-to-end delivery.

Most agencies need an engineering partner who can cover the full delivery surface area, not a specialist they outgrow in 6 months. Every senior on our bench works across at least two of these stacks in production. The full team covers all five.

Three engagement models

Pick the shape that fits your retainer.

A Dedicated pod

2 to 6 seniors, ring-fenced for 6 to 16 weeks.

Right when you’ve sold a 3 to 6-month build and need senior delivery without permanent headcount.

  • Fixed weekly rate, billed monthly
  • 30-day notice, either side
  • Same pod end-to-end, no rotation
  • Your PM owns the client; we own delivery
B On-demand seniors

Pre-vetted seniors, called in for sprints. Daily or weekly.

Right when your team handles 80% of the project and you need a senior for the 20% they can’t.

  • From 20 hours/week, up to a full pod
  • Weekly invoice, transparent timesheet
  • Swap discipline mid-engagement
  • Senior pairs on every PR with one of yours
C White-label retainer

Standing capacity, shipping into your repos under your brand. Monthly.

Right when you’re building an engineering arm without hiring permanent engineers.

  • Monthly retainer, ring-fenced seniors
  • Your CRM and PM tool, your client comms
  • White-label review of every shipped piece
  • Quarterly architecture review with your MD

What your client sees. What’s actually shipping.

How we work next to your account team

One rhythm. One point of contact. No surprises.

Your account director stays the only voice with the client. We sit underneath, on a written cadence with daily, weekly, and monthly checkpoints. The whole communication model is designed so your AD can answer any question their client asks before lunch.

Written async standup

Posted into your Slack or PM tool by 09:00 GMT. What shipped overnight, what’s blocked today, what we need from your team. Your AD reads it with their first coffee.

Escalation

Same-day written escalation

If a build slips, your AD hears it from us before the client hears it from you, in writing, with two costed paths forward. We’ve never broken this rule in seven years.

Senior PR review on every commit

Every PR is reviewed by a senior before merge. Spine commits (auth, payments, schema, infra) get a second review from our principal engineer. Documented decision log on every approval.

Onboarding rhythm

From signed MSA to shipped work, in 30 days.

Most agency partnerships hit week three before the first PR. Ours hit it in week two. Here’s the exact rhythm, day by day, so your AD knows what to put on the client’s calendar.

Day 1

MSA + White-Label Annex signed

Mutual NDA already on file. White-Label Annex (the six clauses) attached, both sides countersigned by lunch.

Day 2

Stack onboarding

We provision into your Slack, PM tool, Figma, and repo. Email signatures and Slack handles reflect your naming. Your IT lead approves access in a 20-minute call.

Day 3

Account-team kickoff

30-minute call with your AD, PM, and design lead. We name the senior pod and the architect on the project. Your team meets ours, by name, before the client does.

Day 5

Architecture brief delivered

Mohit hands your AD a one-page architecture brief for the first project. Your AD walks it to the client in your agency’s framing.

Day 8

First PR opens

Build begins inside your client’s repo. Your AD sees real progress on Monday morning of week two. Async standup goes live from this day.

Day 14

First demo to your account team

Friday demo with your AD and PM. Build candidate, trade-offs named, next two weeks scoped. Your AD takes it to the client at your cadence.

Day 30

Partnership review

30 minutes with your AD, MD, or director. What worked, what didn’t, what to change. The 30-day notice clock has been live from day 1, both ways.

Common questions from agency MDs

The five we get every week.

Your AD decides. If you want us in the room, we join using your agency’s email and your framing. Most partners introduce one of our seniors as their “Head of Engineering” on the team page, and that’s the version the client knows.

Mutual NDA before the partnership call. White-Label Annex on the MSA covers identity, confidentiality, client comms, portfolio, IP, and non-solicit. IP assigns on commit to your contract, which assigns to your client.

16 working hours of senior coverage daily. UK direct, US East Coast 5h with London, Sydney 6h with Rajkot. West Coast US runs on a flipped sprint pattern we’ve done since 2023.

Yes. Common pattern: we’re your “AI engineering team” or your “mobile engineering team”, the rest stays in-house. White-Label Annex covers the named discipline only.

Hourly and pod models pause on 30 days’ notice. Retainers run on a 60-day notice with a 50% drop-to-capacity option you can use twice a year. Designed for the quiet quarters, because every agency has them.

If your last partnership left a scar

One test project. You’ll see the rest.

Most agency partnerships we have today started as one anxious test project for one anxious account director. Eighteen months later, they’re the silent engineering arm sitting behind two-thirds of the agency’s retainer book. Start small. Send the first email. Inside 24 hours, a real reply from Mohit.
